Have you been there, the contest host asked? Yes, I've been there, and I'm going to tell you what took me there, where I went, and the facilities where I went. I visited the most expensive hotels in my city, the once-called 5-Star Hotel which is located in a place that's hidden and far from where I reside.

Anyways, it's actually one of the best hotels I've seen and visited in my city. A seminar took me there to explore the place a 5th time. The name of the hotel is Ibom Icon Hotel and Golf Resort, as shown in the title. Of all the hotels and rooms I've lodged, I still give this particular hotel accolades for their serenity and uniqueness in building. It may not be the tallest, but it's the most outstanding.

Actually, there are many reasons that make me love the place. One of such is the fact that the place is reserved. You won't know there's a hotel as such because it's not that common and popular as other hotels. There are people who need this kind of hotel for privacy sake.

They actually run a private pool, which most people look forward to, and not one that's usually crowded with people, especially on weekends.

And the space is just so overwhelming. I don't think there's any hotel in my city that's as big and spacious as this hotel. Before you get to the main gate, you'll have to drive 5 minutes, or if trekking, 15 minutes. Now, from the gate to the hotel itself is another journey. I love it for this. There's no gate fee, and their security is very tight to prevent breakage.

Another reason why I like the hotel is that their first impression and way of receiving guests is very unique. Can you imagine walking into a hotel and receiving a chilled drink from one of the attendants? This was the VIP treatment I received when I got there for the seminar with my mom. In every hotel, there's always order, and to me, this is the most orderly and serene place I've ever been.

Let's talk about their meals. They have a dining room that accommodates guests who lodge, and one good thing about the place is that once you pay for any room in the hotel, you are entitled to receive breakfast, lunch, and dinner as there's time for these. Their meals are buffet style, where you get to serve yourself and eat anything you want till you faint.

This is not compared to other hotels that give you just breakfast and you purchase lunch and dinner from their restaurant. Aside from the meals, you get free access to places like;

• the gym
• balcony
• sitting room
• pool
• zoo

You don't get to pay for these places since you've already lodged in their hotel. You just need your card as a pass. I really enjoyed my stay there. Their dishes are top notch and sampled in a way you get to choose what you want to eat and combine.

Let's talk about their rooms. Their rooms are top-notch too, as everything there is just so comfortable. They have an extended room, 2 bedrooms, 3 bedrooms, and comfortable single zones. These are a few reasons that make me love the place.

Let me start by touring your place, starting from the entrance. The entrance alone is a facility on its own because it has a watchman who ensures goods and luggage brought into the hotel are free from arms like guns, bombs, etc. They have a scanning machine that helps do the work effectively.

The reception area is another facility where you get to book rooms in the hotel or you get to pay for a tour guide and the like. The reception area looks more like a safe Haven, as the receptionists there are approachable, easy to talk to, and comfortable with. They don't give scars on novices and ensure you receive special treatment as an important guest.

Another facility is the studio, an open area where one gets to do events, shows, birthdays, and proposals in the absence of renting a hall. It's actually one of the affordable open areas to do so. The dining area is just right next to the studio, where guests get to eat and drink. They are made in place so that visitors feel comfortable. These are a few facilities that are made public and for usage.

Another facility that's public for use is the Lift or elevator made in place to ease movements of guests from the ground floor to the top floor. It is convenient to use and facilitated with an air conditioner.

As earlier said, it doesn't really cost a dime entering the hotel as there's no gate fee. The costs for non-guests are shown below. Guests barely pay a dime except for some activities like swimming, drinks from the bar, and other things.

If you're in Uyo metropolis and you're looking for a place to lodge that's very comfortable and private, I'll implore you to go to this hotel and lodge. You get to see the beauty of nature as more like you're in the middle of a beach. A hotel is meant to be located in a place that's not rowdy but rather serene.

Location

This hotel is the best place for your comfort. It's just a mile away from your doorstep. You don't need to worry about the cost of purchasing dinner and lunch, as does other hotels, as you get to choose what you want to eat and eat as much as you want. Ibom Icon Hotel and Golf Resort is the perfect haven for you. It's paradise on earth. It may be costly, but it's worth the expenses.
