I'm here on SteemIt thanks to the advice and support of @lanzjoseg , a friend who encouraged me to be a part of this global family.

I'm not going to lie: it's a little difficult for me to speak about myself because I'm not so used to, but I'm also aware that you all deserve to know a little about me. I'm a senior computers engineer specialized in communications, networking and IT structures design. I worked for the government in my younger days but now I'm working for the private sector.

Besides my career I also know bits of automechanics, electronics, electricity and even carpentry. I also enjoy cooking, reading, driving cars, music and writing.

I'm prone to read about scientific findings and advances, science fiction, drama and cold war spying and counterspionage stories. I'm more of a Trekkie than a Star Wars fan but I love both universes.

I come from a family with strong values and traditions, but don't get me wrong: we highly respect cultural diversity and we're always open to know everything about customs and the way of life of people from other latitudes.

My favorite music gender is, guess what? ROCK! my bands of all ages are: AC DC, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Saxon, Whitesnake, Guns n' Roses, White Lion, Nightwish, Within Temptation, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers.

I also like Roxette, Marillion, U2, Robbie Williams, Maroon 5, Blind Melon, Eros Ramazzotti, Laura Pausini.

I'm an animal protectionist. I take care of cats in stray conditions but it doesn't mean I wouldn't help dogs. It doesn't mean I'm an animalist fanatic, but I'm always willing to aid an animal at risk or in danger.

I have the dream to go to an Opera because in my locality there are no such places to go, but somehow I know that someday I will be able to do so.

I'm not the macho type, I respect women as my equals and you'll never see me disrespecting them, in fact, I'll be the first in line defending them against any abusive treatment and injustice.

Speaking of Justice, that's one of the pylars I rely on: Justice, individuality, family, Life, Property, a true sense of honor, respect and trust.

If you ask me what phrase could suit me more I would say that I'm hungry for knowledge. Until the last day of my life I want to keep learning about anything, this Life is so wonderful and has so many misteries and adventures around it that we need more than 100 lifes to learn just a scratch from the surface. Curiosity brought mankind this far, and hopefully will bring us far beyond the stars, someday in the years to come. Yeah, I'm a dreamer, but one of those who makes its dreams come true or at least is willing to die trying to do so. There are things that worth the try.

I'm also am a believer who thinks that Love can do anything and is the way to get the things done right.
