In summer or dry season, we often hear about a forest fire accident caused by a cigarette put accidentally thrown by a person in the forest causing a big fire.
Oke. I'm sure you've heard and believe it might happen. So what would happen if the nature or the environment we live in is deliberately damaged by some irresponsible people?
Prepare for the "Doomsday" that can happen anytime.
Back to the topic of our discussion.
This year and next year are the political years for all the people of Indonesia. Preparations for democracy parties that will take place next year will be felt in all walks of life, such as campaign issues, political lobbying and mass gathering of supporters of every candidate who will ring in the next year. Indeed, the people of Indonesia will choose the head of the country and the people in each province will elect the head of government in each region.
So what is the relation of democracy party to nature and environment?

I note from several historical facts that there have been irregularities perpetrated by state officials and heads of local governments in the treatment of the environment.
Lately there are also heads of government in areas caught by the KPK (Law enforcement agencies) because corruption cases to licencing clearing land for mining projects, oil palm plantations to investors both local and foreign.

The mode is, the head of the region issued a permit for the clearing of mine land or oil palm plantations,
Then the licensed entrepreneur funded a political campaign instead.
One non-governmental organization cares for the environment, detected more than 13,000 Mining Permits issued during 2004-2016. Usually the issuance of permits increases 1 year before of the elections and 1 year after suspected for 'capital' political campaign, of course really a very big number.
You can also imagine what will happen with the permit. Do not be surprised if tomorrow or the day after tomorrow maybe your land will also be purchased by the capitalists, no more rice fields, gardens, forests, mountains, even your home page also sold for the elite interests of this state official.
In the near future, on June 27 there will be 171 regions that will elect the regional heads simultaneously. Imagine if in those areas there are transactions for licensing open the land!
This certainly can not happen.
The possible impacts of this licensing transaction include:
destroyed forests, smoke and forest fires, conflicts in the community, and citizen rights are ruled out.
