Weekend Recap

Hi Friends,

I had a good weekend and hope each of you did as well.

It was a long weekend for me due to the Thanksgiving holiday. We went out to Arizona to spend some time with family on Tuesday through Thursday, then visited some family on the way home on Friday and Saturday. We were home Sunday, and did lot of honey dos and chores after being gone for most of the week.

In Arizona, we played lots of games and I snuck out for a half day of gold prospecting (see prior post). It was quite windy, so we were limited on some activities outside, but managed to have a good time! Here are a couple of gifs:

On Friday and Saturday, we celebrated a second thanksgiving meal (which is always a good idea to me) with my wife’s family, and we played outside a lot and watched some sports. We also made ginger bread houses in anticipation of the upcoming Christmas holiday:

Sunday was still fun - I had to work a little bit to put out a couple of fires, but we did get to church and I washed the cars and managed to catch a little of the football games.

Overall, a great holiday weekend!
