Going for gold

Hi friends,

I got the chance to take my Gold Monster 1000 metal detector to the gold grounds for the first time. I was in the Mojave desert (Arizona) and went to an area with historical and current mining operations, in hopes of finding some gold nuggets.

I walked around with the metal detector for 4 hours and found no gold! 😭😭

Maybe I will have luck next time. I guess there is no shortcut when it comes to experience when metal detecting for gold - need to keep at it!
