Are First World Problems the Worst Problems in the World?
Comfort is a killer. Do we actually have it worse than everyone else?

Interesting and deep discussion. Thank you for raising it. For me, I think too many people fall back to social norms centered around words that really mean nothing. "First World Problem" - translation - "Problem". "Middle Class" - translation "You got more money and opportunities and expectations", etc. If you put yourself in some categories like this, you lose the basic human experience of happiness, comfort, generosity, compassion, preparedness, advancement, etc. that is the fabric of our existence. One thing that I will never forget is a statement made by Warren Buffet that said that when you are born, it's a crap shoot of where are you born into - could be a starving village in Africa, could be a royal family in UK, could be a working family in Detroit, etc. You have no say in the matter. But this doesn't define who you are, or what you will be. You define that. If you break free of expectations around these stupid terms like "middle class", "1st world", etc. and realize that you are only responsible for what makes you happy, and you should pursue that journey, then you will find peace. There is a Buddhist saying that goes something like "Reaching the end of the journey to happiness, you realize that the happiness was the journey itself". Buck the system and realize that the system is all fiction and doesn't really exist. Then you can break free and find true peace and prosperity.
