My sculpture of clay - The extraterrestial being

Hello welcome,

As i announced i will share this special project with you.
I worked the weekend on this and because it was my first clay project since school it took two days.

My goal was to create an animal from a distant planet.
I gave him the body of a cougar, the flat beak of a wather bird and his nostrils are before his eyes.

He has sharp claws with which he can climb trees, to get his food from the tree crown.

As always, i have made a small compilation of the editing process.

You can see that i started with simple forms, which i then worked out grtadually.

Here is the final result :)

It was fun create something three-dimensional.
I only had the problem that when the clay has dried up, its cracked. That´s why i`m going to buy special modeling clay for the next time

And because i still had clay left, i made this stand for tealights.
