Why do what others want you to? (Original poetry)
Chase that dream only you know,
I'm telling you that it'll grow,
Take a bow
Wondering when to start, start now!
Do not be lazy,
For you are not crazy,
You are yourself,
Don't listen to nobody else
Let them have their say,
At least you are trying everyday.
They are not in your shoes,
So prove them wrong and don't hit the snooze.
Get up,
Get it done,
And let us have some fun,
'Cause you might be the one.
Follow that main dream,
The one that keeps you up at night,
Let the people cheer and scream,
You might just give yourself a fright.
Don't lower your expectations,
Not for me, not for anybody,
Do not stop with limitations,
For once do not feel sorry.
Live life to your full potential,
Make people want your credential,
That signature might just be more,
Than it was a few years before.
Show us what YOU can do,
Why do what others want you to,
Live life your way,
Tomorrow, today, everyday.
