I’ve had several people asking how to buy BRW after the spectacular run up in the prices of the BRW.
It is essential to understand that BRW can be traded only on Decentralized Exchange of Waves

About the Waves DEX

The waves Decentralized exchange can be accessed through two methods.First through the Online wallet available on waveswallet.io or the waves wallet plugin for Chrome can be downloaded here
The difference here being the decentralized nature. This means that you’re in control of your private keys. Which makes the DEX the safest place to trade your BRW tokens.
In my experience it’s much easier to use than more mainstream exchanges like Poloniex and Bittrex. And below, you’ll get to understand just how easy it is to trade your tokens on the waves DEX. Let’s begin!

1. Login in to your account

Login into your waves wallet address is very easy and straightforward. If you’re using the wallet for the first time, then create a wallet address.

2. The Waves Wallet Interface

The waves wallet interface is very clean and minimal. At the top of the page is where your wallet address is located. And can be easily copied by tapping on it. Below that are your tabs. The third tab is where the DEX is located and where you’ll do your trading. Tap on it to open up the DEX

3. The DEX interface

This is the interface of the Waves exchange. The default market is WAVES/BTC. You can tap on either search boxes to select the market you want to trade.
Search BRWaves and you would be able to check out the market rates.

Scroll down to see the order book. Which is the sum of buys and sells on the DEX. On the right is where you can place your buy and sell orders. I
Fill in the price you would like to place your order for BRW, and the amount of BRW you want. Below, you’ll see the total amount of BTC/waves you’ll spend to get it.

Click on buy and wait for the order to be filled.

NOTE: For every trade, you need 0.003 Waves as transaction fee. So, it’s recommended to have at least 0.1 waves for your trading on the DEX
