First Week On Steemit Complete! ~

in #steemit7 years ago

So Ive come to the conclusion on my first week on Steemit. I have to say that I love the platform and I continue to use it on a daily basis. Coming on to the platform to make money wasnt my focus. My main objective was to increase my audience. I set a goal for 7 followers a day and so far Ive averaged 16 followers per day which is far better than I expected and I want to say that I appreciate all of you.

Not only were my audience goals getting crushed but so did something else. After checking my pending payouts on steemnow.com (created by @penguinpablo) I saw that my pending payment was $211. I was shocked and it was super motivational to say the least. Even though no I had no monetary goals, this far exceeded my expectations and I hope I can continue this streak of good fortune on this platform.

Congratulation!

Thank you!!

My goodness! How'd you manage that? I also started about a week ago, but am far far far far far behind your successes! Tips?

Interesting! I've been avoiding the trending page because the vast majority of it is about cryptocurrency, and that's not my passion, but I guess I'll have to wade into that end of things. Wish me luck! I'm trying to build a following for my fiction.

Trending page doesnt necessarily have to be all categories. You can select your favorite categories and then click the trending tab at the top. So lets say you like art, you would select the art tag on the right and then click the trending page and you should see all the trending posts with an art tag. This would be a great way to follow and interact with the top people of your favorite categories.

Yeah, I've tried that with Story and Writing, but I'm still seeing mostly things that don't interest me. Curating is hard :P
