Hey there, Steemians!

I'm Buff Steemington, and I used to be an average Joe, just like you! One day, while working the graveyard shift at the crypto-mine, I was electrocuted by a rig I was repairing. After a lengthy recovery, I began to notice changes... I realized I had the power to see into digital networks like the Steem Blockchain, and alter the potential rewards of users on its many front-end platforms.

I have seen the way this network can change lives. I've also seen its vulnerability to greedy individuals who see Steemit as a get-rich-quick scheme to be cheated and misused at every opportunity.

Buff Steemington stands for justice!

I've decided to use my newfound powers for all that is good and just. There are many content creators who are not receiving the rewards they should, while others are pulling massive amounts out of the reward pool with very little work, and a lot of unscrupulous behavior, and a lack of empathy for the ecosystem that has been created here.

Buff Steemington will be searching high and low for undervalued content.

When I find a post I feel isn't receiving the attention or rewards it probably should, I will upvote it, and encourage others to do so as well. There are many users here who put in a lot of hard work doing what they do, they follow the rules of the platform, and their posts get buried under the weight of the blockchain. I've set up nifty communications channels for steemians to share with me posts they feel are undervalued. I'll let you guys know more about those soon...

Fighting crime, however, is a superhero's job, if anyone's, right?

I plan to use my powers to serve justice to those who think they can get away with cheating and stealing. I plan to punish the plagiarizers, and karate chop the cheaters. I'll lay the smackdown on spammers, and create fear and chaos in the corrupt corners of Steemit.

Fighting Crime also means collaborating with the superheroes that already exist on Steemit

I will do my part to fight crime when and where I can, but I also hope to be in touch with superheroes like @cheetah, @steemcleaners, @spaminator, @sherlockholmes, and the many others that hunt down and punish the evil deeds that try to hide in the shadows. Chat with Buff and others on Discord, and do your part to show shady and unscrupulous steemians that their behavior won't be tolerated.
