Turning an old horse shoe into something cool

"So here is my effort at turning a beat-up old horseshoe into a funk bit of Walmart. This is what i started with, the overall condition was ok but still had straw in the grooves. The first process was to clean off the straw and crap using a power washer and then drying out them completely."

I remembered when I was a kid, my dad used to have a whetstone that has a very fine grain and I used to play with it trying to sharpen my mum's kitchen knives. Nowadays, I could not find any stones that are that fine in the local hardware store and good ones online cost a little fortune."
