Why am I been investigated, a criminal will ask, the criminal is told immediately.
This is not true.
Lets say your wife died by someone killing her.
You, the husband, may be investigated for years.
and the only reason you think you know why they are investigating you is that your wife was killed.
You do not know what they are investigating you for.
Currently, the police investigate certain people to find any infractions of the law. And if they look long enough, they will find them.
The same is true of all govern-cement bureaucracies.
Their path is easy, known by them, and greased.
Your path is unknown, made as difficult as possible and as time consuming as possible
The problem is that people still believe the lie that the govern-cement is here to help you.
They are not. They are here to imprison and punish as many people as they can. That is what they are paid to do. If they fail, they will be fired.
It is only because of movie and TV propaganda that we allow any govern-cement agent near our homes. A burglar is a thousand times less destructive.
@builderofcastles I do understand your perspective and you are indeed right from that angle. That said, the process of investigation is much more different when it comes to CPS cases, Guilty until proven innocent is their motto. This is why they can can confidently take you to their rotten courts because they are confident of their rigged sustem. For a criminal, investigators are more careful and deligent not to trample on the rights of criminals, for parents it is different thing. Ignorance is another problem , because once you are ignorant, you would always be at their mercy.
Like you said, their main objective is to destroy and they can never be trusted. It is a pity that people still open their homes to these destructive agents.

Most people in prison never had a trial.
They are just... guilty by writ of taking a plea deal.
You would think that law would be one of the essential subjects in govern-cement schools, right?
Taking the plea is the ultimate death pill and people will always be victimized. Really saddening.
The law is made to seem like it is for Lawyers only. Lie!.
So also they never teach Economics nor financial literacy to escape debts, they even provide ways to make people swim in more debt. ..That is why almost ALL people are in bondage of the Government one way or the other. This way we never know our true power as We The People. ..
What better way can they rule without objection; making sure the younger generation never know of the Power they as the people possess, at all.
