Art craft is a work of art that is made with hand skill (hand skill) by paying attention to functional aspect and artistic value so that the Art of craft is included from the works of the applied artistry of archipelago. Creation of artwork is not only based on its functional aspect (physical needs), but also for the fulfillment of the need for beauty (emotional needs). In its development, the artwork of craft is always synonymous with the art of craft. The term "craft art" comes from the root word "krya" (Sanskrta) meaning "to do"; from the root of the word then becomes the word: work, craft, work. In a special sense is to work on something to produce objects or objects. In a subsequent sense all the work including various technics is called "craft art".
The word "craft" in Indonesian means work (craft), in which English is called a craft that implies: energy or strength, another meaning of a work or making skill.That term is defined as a skill attributed to the profession as seen in craftsworker (craftsmen).
