The importance of Bulgaria in Ukraine conflict.

This wouldn't be new for Bulgaria. They've been secretly providing ammunition to Ukraine over the last year through intermediary companies while simultaneously maintaining a neutral official stance. However there's some uncertainty going forward with Bulgaria's politics. Former Prime Minister Petkov's coalition government fell apart this past summer and it is currently a caretaker government until the next elections. Petkov was supportive of Zelensky amidst the invasion.

Bulgaria is a major producer of the type of ammunition used by the Soviet-era weapons being used in Ukraine, so their participation can't be overstated
