I hope everyone is doing fine and having great time in life. First of all Belated Eid Mubarak to all of you. Eid is very special event for me as well and this contest which is organised by the @artist1111 which is all about Eid Celebrations. So I’m here to take part as well. Let’s get Started
Channd Raat In Pakistan

In Pakistan, Eid begins on Chand Raat. We wait till after the 29th Fast to view the Moon, but this time, because it was after a full month, Eid was certain.

Conflicts over moon sighting frequently arise in Pakistan because some people want to celebrate Eid with Saudi Arabia while the majority of us prefer to do it after viewing the moon. The announcement of Eid or Ramadan has unfortunately become a late-night tradition for Our Moon Seeing Community in recent years, but thank God this time was different.

After Last Fast, when Eid is certain people in Pakistan mostly start moving towards markets to enjoy the Chand Raat. Most of the women and girls went out to have applied Henna on their Hands from their places. Some people went out for the shopping on the last moment.

After the last Aftaar, my husband and I were sitting on the roof as Azan e Magrib was being called. We were complaining about the weather, saying that there were clouds everywhere and that it would be impossible to see the moon. Suddenly, I looked to the west and shouted, "There is Moon!" We were delighted to see it and made Dua. Thank God, Eid is tomorrow. Following my moon photography, my spouse left for prayer as I offered the Magrib prayer.

For girls, Henna application on their hands during Eid is a must, and I personally enjoy this. This time, since it was my first Eid at my in-laws, I went to the salon and had henna applied to both my hands and my feet.

My Husband also brought me Gajrays as this is my favourite part of Channd Raat. He also gave me Eidi on channd Raat as well. And I applied Henna on my left hand inspired by one of pictures I’ve seen somewhere on social media.

Eid Day

Eid day started with the Fajar Prayer and then I woke up my husband for the Eid Prayer. First I prepared his clothes and helped him to get ready for the Eid Prayer. Eid Namaz is also an important part of Eid in our country. All the men, boys or even children gather at the Masjid to offer prayer. My Husband and his brother also left for Eid Namaz.

As he left for Eid prayer I went to the kitchen to make some Dessert for Eid. Hence, I decided to prepare Kheer as a dessert. This Eid which is also called as Meethi Eid is incomplete without Sweet. So I prepared Rice Kheer for everyone and then Distributed it in the neighbourhood which is also very common tradition in our area. Even I also received many sweet dishes from the whole neighbourhood. This shows the harmony.

Eidi

Giving and receiving Eidi is a common thing on Eid day here. We gave Eidi to our younger and received it from our elders. As In our household, it is tradition to give Eidi to the daughters who are newlyweds and occasionally even to those who have recently become engaged during the last ten days of Ramadan. Such an Eid was given to me this year. My mother visited me and brought the Eid for both my husband and I. I am aware that this is a widespread custom throughout our nation.

Not only this as this was my First Eid at In laws I received of Eidi from the Mother in law, Brother In law also from my sister and Father even the relatives who came here at my home. One of my Husband’s khala also send me Eidi. I made me feel so happy. I also gave Eid to younger like to my brother, sister and also niece and czns of my Husband etc etc.

Family Gathering and Lunch

Your Eid will be more memorable if your family comes together. As a result, it is customary in our home for family to get together on this day. On the first day of Eid, relatives visited our home, and on the second day, I visited my mother.

The largest task in history is to prepare meals for Eid. Choosing what to make or not to make is really challenging. I made Chicken Biryani and Beef Karahi. I forgot to photograph the biryani. Additionally, there were other kids present who didn't want homemade food for Eid, so we also ordered pizza for them. And whenever visitors arrive, they also bring sweets to your home. As a result, one of our aunts brought us this cake.

Eid Pictures

Without Eid selfies or pictures, my Eid is also incomplete . I therefore get ready early on both Eid days. Then, because it's important to have some memories from Eid, we both took a tonne of photos. Due to the large crowds on Eid days, we often avoid going outside. I spent the first day of Eid at home, as I had done in years past, and the second day at my mother's.

This is how we celebrate Eid in my country. And praise be to Allah, this was another of my blessed Eids.

This is all from myside. Take care of yourself and Allah Hafiz

I further invite my three friends to come and take part in this contest @iqrarana786 @cocomuff and @drhira.

HAVE A GOOD DAY

Sweet Regards
@bushramalik
