I hope you all are doing great and living a fine life. First of all EID MUBARAK to all of you from my side as well. I know everyone received so much wishes and prayer on this because Eid is a festival which brings so much love, happiness and joy. Everyone enjoy these days accordingly.

For me, this is the best Eid and also the first Eid in Susral (In-laws) so I really enjoyed my days as a newlywed. Today I’m here to take part in the contest organised by the @faran-nabeel in the Steem For Pakistan. Which is about the joys of Eid. Let’s get started

Chand Raat & Pre Eid Preparation

We girls are perplexed about whether to apply henna on our hands, just as there is constant debate in Pakistan regarding whether it will be 29 or 30 fasts. As many of us were confident that Eid would fall on Friday this year, but as usual, it happened on Saturday instead.
However, as a result of the uncertainty, my husband and I decided to prepare before Eid. He then advised me to do all tasks ahead of schedule in order to avoid being bothered in the end.

I went to get henna applied to my hands and feet on the day of Chaand Rat. Since this was my first Eid, my mother-in-law and husband advised me to get henna all over my hands and feet because I love the colour. So, I did that, and it took over two hours, and I was exhausted. Even though I hadn’t made Aftar that day, I returned home and took a nap.

Eid is tomorrow, it was confirmed. My Husband ran out right away and purchased some Gajray because I liked them so much. Additionally, he gave me a distinct Eidi on Chand Raat. He cares about everything, thus that made me quite happy. I also put henna to the right side of my hand, wore gajray, and snapped pictures. We slept really late on chand raat.

Prayers of Eid

I got up early on Eid because it's thrilling to see people of your house, especially guys who go to the mosque for the Eid prayer. In the majority of neighbourhoods here, women attend Eid prayers in the mosque, but I never do. Every time my brother and father leave for Eid prayer, I wait for them to return so they can wish me.

Eid's Hug's & Happiness

For me, Eid is a celebration of constant joy. I look forward to Ramadan and Eid the entire year because they bring people together and resolve issues. When my father and brother return after prayer and greet everyone at home with Eid Mubarak, that is the Eid embrace I wait for. It brings me some other kind of blessing. But now that I'm married, I waited for my husband on this Eid.

How You Celebrate Eid?

Eid day starts with Prayer we Say Thankyou To Allah Almighty that he blessed us with another Ramadan and now Eid as a gift.

My Eid also starts like this, I woke up early and offered prayer and then I helped my Husband to get ready for the Eid Prayer on this Eid but I missed how my Father and Brother used to go for Eid prayer. As this Eid was different so I went down to make some Sweet dish because Eid Ul Fiter is also called as مٹھی عید Hence it is incomplete without sweet.

So I started with making dessert. I decided to make kheer as a dessert, so I started by soaking the rice, heating the milk, and slicing the dry fruits. The pudding was prepared, removed, adorned with dry fruits and placed in the refrigerator to cool.

I also made another Dish for afternoon lunch. I made Beef Karahi for that. I sliced onions, tomatoes, garlic and ginger. Also cleaned the beef properly. I added all these things together in the Pressure cooker along with spices and let it boiled first and then roasted it. This is how it comes out. Everyone in the house appreciated me.

Then I came back to my room I get ready. I wore my Eid Dress which is of Blue color and wore everything of matching with it. My Husband adore me so much and I felt really happy for that. After that everyone from the neighbours and relatives comes and go all day. I received alot of Eidi and wishes.
This was good Eid.

And yes, I missed my mom and siblings so much on This Eid because The Eids there was different from here. But everything is a part of life. And life changes after Marriage.
