I hope all you beautiful ladies are doing fine and having great time in your life. First of all, I want you to know that this is my first post int his community. I hope we will get to know each other soon.

So let’s get started;
I know many of you maybe a mummy or mummy to be like me. O yeah..! My pregnancy journey is not completed yet I’m on my second trimester. And every woman has a different experience during the nine-month pregnancy, which includes fresh changes in each trimester. These changes can be overwhelming and stressful for expectant women, and they may also present new difficulties as your body goes through various physical and psychological changes. That’s why I thought to share my emotions, changes, health, medical checkups and so on… And I would if you mummys also share your opinions or any healthy tip for me.

First Trimester

Basically, this pregnancy wasn't planned, but it doesn't mean we don't want it. When I first became pregnant, I wasn't aware of it because I had a high fever at the time and though it might be seasonal because it was winter.
I've always avoided taking medications, and by chance, I hadn't taken any at the time either, not even the typical painkillers, which I believe protected my pregnancy.

First Doctor Visit

Since this is my first pregnancy, I had no idea of any Gynae, so I asked my family and friends for recommendations, and they gave me names of 2-3 doctors. I was quite anxious about what the doctor would say when I first went to see her, so it was incredibly upsetting when she told me that I would have to wait 15 days because it wasn't obvious yet.

But also I don’t like the doctor personally and also many people gave some negative reviews in my contacts so I changed my Doctor after a month.

Medication

Initially, my doctor, who is also well-known in my community, didn't give me any prescriptions; instead, she advised me to deal with any minor changes or pains in my body on my own, but if necessary, to take painkillers like Panadol or nuberol fort. And also take Follic Acid regularly for first three months. As a result, I adhere to her advice and refrain from taking any medications while building my strength for this nine months journey.
I would also advise you, who are Mummy to Be, to stay away from medications as much as possible.

My Diet
IMG_0989.jpegIMG_0633.jpeg

Many women find the first trimester to be very challenging, and I experienced the same thing. When the infant doesn't want my favourite food when I want to eat it, I occasionally throw up. Therefore, maintaining a healthy diet for myself during this phase—or even any diet—was challenging. I occasionally experience severe morning sickness, and sometimes the food I eat doesn't suit me.

Since I didn't like bananas at the time, I only consumed liquids like fresh juices and shakes along with some fruits (apples, oranges, and grapes). And also like to have Creamy fruit chat every time.

Changes I felt in my Body

As it is necessary, my doctor advised me to see her every month, and since it was my first pregnancy , I concurred.
Additionally, I experienced numerous physical changes in my body, including body aches, breast enlargement, back pain, headaches, etc. Sometimes even little environmental changes have an impact. However, I don't notice many emotional changes. I occasionally feel like crying, but I also get a little moody.

Second Trimester

My first trimester was challenging, and I'm aware that many women may also find it challenging. Consequently, after this trimester, my diet has been improving steadily. I can now easily eat the foods that I used to avoid during the first trimester, such as wheat, meat, milk, etc.

Medications

My doctor explained to me to be more cautious as this trimester begins that everything is good. You're doing good, and the baby is growing well. The baby's weight is healthy. Alhamdulillah. I only took the calcium and iron she prescribed once because I don't like it, and she advised me to avoid doing any heavy lifting. Without any medications, I am doing OK.

Cravings

Although my gynaecologist hasn't advised me to avoid any foods or drinks, she has said that you can consume whatever you want. However, at first I was very anxious about the food and drinks, particularly the shakes and fast food. Even though I did a lot of research about them online, I kept discovering that it was bad for my health.

But many of you must be aware of the undesirable cravings that can occur during pregnancy. Additionally, I constantly crave Burger and Ice Cream, so I just want it whenever I want. Not that I don't consume nutritious foods. I often consume nutritious foods like fruits, veggies, and whole grains, yet when cravings tempt me, I just want these foods in my stomach.

This is my journey thus far through the pregnancy. Yes, it hasn't been finished yet, and I'm anxiously awaiting my child. The gender is something else about which I am likewise for unaware till now. I'm hoping for the best.

Please make recommendations for me on healthy activities, foods, or anything else that will benefit me during the next few months.

This is all from myside. Take care of yourself and Allah Hafiz

HAVE A GOOD DAY

Sweet Regards
@bushramalik
