Beer Tasting - Barley Wine ('St Martin's Beer 2018' by Medvedgrad Brewery)

A few alts bounced but nothing of importance is really happening. A quiet weekend we should say.

LTC leading the pack with more than 10% upside. Remember when 10% was something to laugh at? I do. Short term moving averages on BTC still point downwards and until that changes keep your positions small. Nothing here that would indicate trend is changing.

I’d like to see it hold here and continue sloping upwards, but who knows? So far it didn’t show strength.

Heavy hitters. They work best in cold wintery days. Medvedgrad brewery made a new edition of barley wine and they pulled it off quite well.

Appearance	Amber brown. Slightly misty. Whitish yellow creamy head.
Aroma	Butter. Alcohol. Yeast. Wine barrel.
Taste	Creamy and bready. Subdued alcohol. Citrusy outer layer. First impression is butter on a lightly toasted bread.
Palate	Viscous body. Honeyish. Low carbonation. Extremely soft aftertaste, almost dry. Absent feel of alcohol.

Overall	This very moderate brew can fool you with alcohol content. Amazing with Christmas cakes and sweets.
