Today is the fifth day of the Lunar New Year! All taboos have been stopped, such as not being able to take a shower, sweep the floor, wash clothes, or do needlework! On the fifth day of the lunar new year, we need to clean up both inside and outside the house, and then take out the garbage to welcome the God of Wealth with a clean and tidy house!
This morning, we still eat dumplings. Today's dumplings are commonly known as "Po Wu". My aunt used to say that on the fifth day of the lunar new year, we eat dumplings and pinch Po Wu. I don't know what it means specifically, it could be squeezing the little person's mouth and holding onto all the bad things! On this day, there were people going to work and shops opening, so the sound of firecrackers welcoming the God of Wealth could also be heard.
It is said that the fifth day of the lunar calendar is the birthday of the God of Wealth, so there is a saying of welcoming the God of Wealth. The fifth day of the lunar calendar also marks the end of the holiday, and people need to devote themselves to work and business. Only by accepting the God of Wealth can one receive the protection of the God of Wealth in the new year, with prosperous financial luck and thriving business. Through one's own hard work , we can obtain abundant wealth.
May you be happy and prosperous!
