RE: STEEMIT: On the Eve of the Hard Fork I wish the Developers a successful day tomorrow..!!

It's not about scalability, it's about adoption. If 1 rich curator with malicious intent has more influence than 100s of new users with good intentions, we have a big fucking problem.

The system needs to recognize curation skill to influence the power and rewards of curators.

The hard fork will give newcomers an inentive to continue curating posts. Now, it only seems like jumping on board of what the post popular guy is posting: https://steemit.com/steemit/@wekkel/steemit-are-we-just-upvoting-the-most-reputable-steemers

Wrong, wrong, wrong. You don't seem to understand how any of it works. You should do more research and then you'll understand the true implications of HF19. My channel has a lot of information about curating and HF19.

Jumping on popular posts often gives you less rewards than picking less popular onces.

Whether I am wrong or not, I do see this 'jumping on posts' behaviour. Whatever the cause is, I hope it will be less with the changes HF19 will bring.

Do you know when HF19 will become effective today?

Yes the behavior is terrible.

Next hardfork scheduled for: Tue, 20 Jun 2017 15:00:00 UTC (in 9 hours, 12 minutes)
