Food Diary #072 | Gado Gado

Let's have something healthy today and I picked Gado-Gado as my lunch earlier. Gado gado is a traditional Indonesian salad which you mix in various vegetables in your plate then add some peanut sauce on top of them. Gado gado can be spicy and can be sweet too, you can adjust how it will taste by asking the server the right mix you want.

Gado Gado won't be completed it you do not add crackers or crips, however some prefer to have veggie only, such as Vegan People. Anyway because most of the time we get Gado-gado from street cart or street hawkers, make sure you buy them from the person or vendor you trust... it's hygiene issue, some server or seller sometime do not show any effort to clean their stall.
