It is SO important that people know their rights and that they do not let CPS in their home without a Court Order. If they actually have anything serious on you, the Judge will give them that Court Order, but most of the time they are just fishing. Usually they have nothing serious on you UNLESS you let them in your home and they snoop around long enough or get you to say something that they can twist around to sound bad.
Like dogs hunting for a meal. They come in and make a mountain out of a play mud.
Many do not know its their right not to allow them in without a warrant, I am beginning to think they only ask for warrant when it is a Police officer forgetting the fact that CPS is inclusive.
When CPS shows up at the door, people think that they have nothing to hide, and also that that CPS is just trying to help children. Therefore, being the nice people that they are, they let them in the door.
If the parent knows enough to hesitate about letting them in the door, then the next thing that they will do is apply pressure, making it seem like you have a legal obligation to let them in. In other words, they lie.
