Long Traffic Jam Queue on Kutablang Bridge

The Kutablang Bridge is currently undergoing reconstruction. The previous bridge was destroyed by a major flood. A temporary bridge, known as a Bailey bridge, is now in use. This bridge can only accommodate one lane of traffic. The two-way opening and closing system causes long queues. These long queues normally take up to 2 hours. The latest information is that tractor-trailers can no longer cross the bridge because they can cause damage to the bridge deck.
