How to set up a non-profit organization
In my opinion its usually not that difficult to operate (run) the nonprofit organization...the bigger problem is how to fund (finance) the organization. If you are reading this then I assume that you are able to understand that society is broken, so that would probably mean that you are going to be the director.
So the non profit has a head (director) now lets look at the possible position(s) that the non profit wants to add after the director position has been filled.
The next positions that the non-profit might need to fill is 'board members'. Each board member usualy works for free and their job is to just advise the director. Pretend the director needs to decide if he/she is going to help a school, homeless shelter, or an after school program...then the board members help the director look at the problem from a different angle (the board advises the director).
Next, you will probably want to gain some sort of stream of income...and for that I recommend that you look at people like a Director of Philanthropy (which can help source new donors or find new 'pipelines/streams' of people/companies).
The next type of person to look for is A Director of Major Gifts can help increase the amount of contributions (he or she can help squeeze more money from the donors that you already have)
The next position that needs to be filled is a Chief Operations Officer or COO(which can help make sure more money can go towards the positive work you do...he/she directs the funds into various places)
