Show us your Skills by Creating any Craft with Paper

Greetings steemians! How are you today I believe you are as fine as I am. I appreciate @shiftitamanna for organising this contest. Today, I have constructed a lady's high heel shoe using paper and below are the details of the construction.

Materials For Construction

• Waste carton
• Embossed paper
• Cardboard paper
• White acrylic colour
• Paper cutter
• Pencil
• Scissors
• Ruler
• Pencil
• Eraser
• Eraser
• Black wool
• Evostik gum

Step 1
In this first step, I drew the sole of the shoe on a carton and then used my paper to cut it out. I then cut a rectangular carton measuring 7cm high then peeled one side of the rectangle for easy folding.

Step 2
With the help of evostik gum, I glue the two shapes cut out in step one above. I also cover the remaining side with a carton.

Step 3
Here, I measured the remaining length of the soul on the carton and cut it out. I also form the heel of the shoe which is 7.5cm high.

Step 4
Here I completed forming the soul of the shoe by gumming the items constructed in step 2 and step 3.

Step 5
I formed the landing of the shoe using pink cardboard paper and gummed it on the sole of the shoe using evostik gum. I also cut black embosed paper 5cm high and gummed it arround the front sole.

Step 6
I used pink cardboard paper to seal the sole and the heel of the shoe. I also cut black embossed paper 1cm high and gummed it at the bottom of the heel. Finally, I cut the shining bias and gummed it at the middle of the heel.

Step 7
I cut an oval shape of black embossed paper and gummed it on the landing of the shoe.

Step 8
Here, I formed the front top of the shoe. From the sole of the shoe, I cut the landing. And then seal it with pink cardboard paper. I again cut a rectangular black embossed paper measuring 3cm wide and gummed it on the landing. Finally, I gummed 1cm bias material at the centre of the black embossed paper of the front top.

Step 9
I mounted the top of the shoe on the sole and gummed it using Evostik gum. I also gummed the
Fastening mechanism which is at the top of the heel.

Step 10
I used Cotton board to make white dots around the shoe with a white acrylic colour.

✅ How did you get the idea of ​​making paper crafts?
I first got the idea of making paper crafts from Miss Jemmimah, my leader in the decoration committee of my church, and later on, from social media.

✅ Briefly tell us how you felt while making the papercraft

Frankly speaking, I got discouraged at some point in constructing this paper shoe. This is because it took me a longer time than necessary to have this work completed. I also have to construct some parts more than once to enable me to get the best. But, I became happy at last because the work was completed.
