Greetings friends and Steemians! How are you today? I believe you are all fine as I am. Today, I drew a hand of a banana to show my skills in drawing. I appreciate @pea07 and the Steem fashion and style community for organising this contest and for allowing me to improve.

What is Banana
Banana is a fruit plant that grows near the tropical rainforest. It is green or yellow depending on the species of the banana. There are quite several species in bananas and they contain the following for the benefit of man and other animals potassium, magnesium, vitamin B6, and other important nutrients.

Materials for drawing

• Plain paper
• Pencil
• Colours
• Eraser
• Sharpener

Now my drawing in steps
Step 1
I began the drawing of my banana by drawing the upper layers of the banana hand. I first drew the pieces of banana fused and then connected them at the upper end.

Step 2
Here, I drew the second layer of the banana which is right below the first layer. The second layer contains five pieces of banana and they are all drawn

Step 3
I drew a nail fixed on the wall and a robe tying the banana to the nail. I also outlined the shadows of the banana, nail and the robe.

Step 4
Here, I started colouring the first layer of the banana. I used my yellow colour to do that after using my eraser to erase the outline of the bananas.

Step 5
At this stage, I used my brown colour to draw the dark spots and lines on the banana and I also used an orange colour lightly on the yellow colour to make it dark and need.

Step 6
Here, I used my pencil to shade the shadow of the banana, the nail and the robe. Finally, I used my pencil and brown colour to shade the top edge of the banana.

Conclusion
