Retro Gaming - Ghosts 'n Goblins
Anyone who has a memory will remember this great game called Ghouls' n Ghosts (Vampires and Ghosts) was created in 1988 by the company Capcom, was considered the first platform game that dealt with a medieval hero in a great world of goblins and ghosts, whose mission was to free the world from the forces of evil. After its departure many versions of this same game were made for other platforms like Sony PlayStation and Sega Mega.
Characters
Sir Arthur
In this case we get into the skin of Sir Arthur A very noble and in love, whose mission is to rescue his princess "Guinivere" who is kidnapped in a castle under the command of an evil demon, but will have to fight against several creatures hellish to reach her and rescue her, in the best style of "The Legend of Zelda" making torch uses, spears, daggers and many more things.
Enemies
Zombies which are very common enemies during the game but a little weak, die easy with only the impact of a spear.
Skeletons which are a bit peculiar because they look like an ornament on the floor but when they get close they attack you by surprise.
Crows they are weak but slippery at the same time the reds adhere to you directly while the blues fly the circle.
Gargoyles move in a circle, protect themselves with wings and chase after you on all sides, they are not easy to beat.
Dark Knight always protect themselves with their shield and you can only kill them by the back, it becomes a problem if we let them get too close.
The death appears in the first phases, they leave from the ground and they attack you very fast and without stopping.
Blue demons are a bit weak but very fast, they can make you lose control as they attack in groups.
Cyclope make you life impossible are fast and throw fireballs by the mouth, you have to be very careful with this enemy.
Ogros are very strong enemies have to eliminate them from afar without letting them approach you already attack with big blows and they leave you K.O
Dragon makes it a little difficult to beat it as it is eliminated by the head, you have to practice a lot and be very careful to destroy this opponent.
Red Demon is fast, strong and you can only end up using the shield, I recommend you follow your flight closely so you can attack and eliminate it once and for all.
Satan If you get to see this character you deserve to get the stars lol because he is the final enemy and is stronger than all, has a kind of head in the stomach that attacks you with balls of fire constantly, you need the shield to protect you of its attacks and to be able to do damage to it.
Short summary
It is a great game of the platform genre created in 2D, the game begins with the protagonist Sir Arthur that counts only with an armor and a spear, but while you advance in the game you improve your weapons and your armor, there is a golden armor which allows to invoke a type of magic depending on the type of weapon that you use at that moment.
While Sir Arthur receives blows loses the armor and is being naked and if you receive much damage you will instantly lose your life, some enemies carry with them a bonus that when they drop they grant objects like weapons and armor, in the course of rescuing the princess you must face to demons, zombies, dragons, ogres, cyclops and other monsters to be able to rescue the princess. To finish this game you must finish 5 levels 2 times, the second time you will be given a special weapon, as the difficulty increases, at the end of this game you must face Satan who is a demon very difficult to defeat as he spits fire through his stomach , if they have not played I recommend that they do, below I will leave the link to play it, greetings.
