Great job! I've never thought of bringing the torch out early to open up the cells. I usually wait until after I have shifted the paint around the canvas. I am going to have to try that technique this weekend and see how that works out. I am hoping to do some string pull paintings with the family as well.
Thank you Wes. Yes, the timing of the torching gives different effects - not that there is all that much control to begin with. The element of randomness is part of the fun. Thanks for the resteem and good luck with your string pulls. Please don't forget to let us know the ratio of design on canvas to paint on kids' faces ;-)
