Ynuu the Astral Walker | Original Painting

Hello guys :')

I'm back with a portrait of my female Draenei Character in World of Warcraft! Her name is Ynuu, and she's a Healing Shaman.

As a Shaman she's deeply connected with the Elements and Nature, which is why every night she takes a long walk in her simple Robe to gaze at the Stars at Azuremyst Isle.

This small ritual keeps her greatly in tune with the Universe, and makes her feel grounded. That way, she keeps herself away from craving excessive power, that would only be available to her by exploiting her relationship with the Elements.

Many other Shaman go down this path, but she's been alive long enough to know that it's a road to destruction, either by the overwhelming Powers of Flame, Earth, Water and Air, or from the sheer internal pressure of knowing what permanent damage had been caused to the very forces of Nature itself.

As with my Blood Elf Portrait , this picture was made by me to have a Illustration ready for her own personal page that has all the details about her personality, history and more.

Also, i absolutely adore the Draenei in every aspect, especially how they are themed around outer space. And they are so beautiful, i looooove to draw them!!

I implemented a lot of the knowledge i gained from my last picture + from the guidance by Kienan Lafferty, and oh boy was it fun to paint with all these new techniques!! It feels like i painted for the first time in my life just because of a couple new insights lol! Here's my Progress, i hope you enjoy :')

cleaned up the sketch to get ready for painting!

getting an idea of where i want the lightning and shadows here

already putting on some small details to see if i'm feeling the way it's going! And i'm happy, so i get to the most exciting stage: saying farewell to the lines! Freeeeeedom!

now it's all about details/rendering, putting a bit of texture on the skin and refining the hair + lightning!

just added the Background which fits her Profile + is dark enough to give her the Spotlight :') Hope you enjoyed it!! I'll be back with more soon. Until next time!
