RE: [Negotiations] Succession of Streemian.com - Reactivation

Terms and conditions you apparently changes without notifying anyone. Using every trail to upvote your content is clear abuse. I hope the whales nuke this to the ground.
T&C's haven't changed in over 1.5 years. The slider that allows you to pick how much you support streemian with you voting stake is implemented for over a year. We did everything we can to allow people to opt out of this.
You also posted 6 days ago that the service was dead. Basically nullifying the T&C
You pretty much suck, and you know what you did.
That only satisfies the minimum standard of legality. It doesn't make it right, and it is not right.
Every time you justify your actions by resorting to legal fine print you look more and more like a scammer.
I agree with you, @smooth. A very easy way to not have this problem, yet still allow users to support them, would be to make the support opt-in rather than opt-out, so you would need to actively click on something to agree to support them.
Or just use the ability in a more moderate manner. It isn't necessary to attempt to pull $10000 from the system "because steemian T&C"
Curating for max rewards, and not max 'good' content, is reward pool rape, in our opinion.
What happened to the 80mv whale experiment?
How about a sigmoid reward curve that discourages large holdings while encouraging small ones?
Seems that would encourage adoption as a currency, and not as a parking spot to rape the reward pool for roi, only to dump at a high.
IMO they aren't even meeting their own terms
" 11. Fees for Using the Streemian Services
11.1. Company Fees Creating an Account. Streemian does not currently charge fees for any Services, however we reserve the right to do so in future, and in such case any applicable fees will be displayed prior to you using any Service to which a fee applies."
Seems pretty clear from that the service is free ...
Oh, but I'm sure they don't consider a "vote" a charge...
Read the rest of my statements too. Hint: it's not just the fine print, but also a clear option for customers to choose how much they like to support the platform or not. They do, btw, use that service for free.
And yes, we had all of that discussion already over a year ago .. and yes, I am of the very same opinion than you .. and still, do you belive 3k$ isn't worth the service that streemian has provided to customers (AND the Steem blockchain) thru the last 1.5 years?!
It was/is closer to $10000 after factoring in the SBD value and this is a repeat offense after the last sad attempt to pull a massive reward for "I'm quitting".
Good i like
