The Diary Game [10/05/2024] // A Day with Mixed Feelings.
Steem greetings all the way from the motherland-Cameroon and welcome to my blog as I share my daily routine with you all. It was a super busy day for me as I had lots of commitments to be done before the day runs out.
I woke up at 5:00 AM to prepare breakfast for my kids and also arranged their snacks for school. My kids left the house at 7:30 AM and I immediately engaged with curation with SC05 account. I searched for quality content respecting steemit rules and supported them with an upvote.
Temperatures these days is super hot in my area and I most often shower with cold water. I took a cold shower and dressed up for a meeting to be attended in town. When I was done dressed up, I got a called that the meeting has been postponed till further notice. I sat down on the couch disappointed and at the same time happy because I had time for other errands.
I had some pending work online to be done and I quickly switched to my laptop to do the work. My baby could not allow me to do the work in peace. I had to shutdown my laptop and postponed the work to be done over the weekend. I had some quality time with him and he later felt sleepy.
In the afternoon hours, I got a call from my friend whom I ordered some traditional regalia. She agreed we meet in the evening hours in town and I collect the outfit. I had to go to the bank to withdraw some money from the ATM to be used. I was expecting to meet a crowd at the ATM machine because it was weekend and most people will be spending for vacations.
I left there to the location I had an appointment with my cousine to collect a traditional regalia. I arrived the location around 4:00PM and could not find her. I tried calling her to no avail. I felt disappointed already and was about leaving and she called me she was around and that I should be patient.
Guys, it was a disappointment as the cloth was not what I ordered for. The fitness of the dress was a disappointment. I immediately informed her that the dress was not what I ordered.
I was so disappointed because the amount of money wasted was too much. 75k cfa approximately 338 steem.
I took a cab in disappointment and came back home. I heated food I cooked in the afternoon and served myself. It was fufu corn and huckleberry. These days I see myself eating once a day and I’m still to recover.
After eating, I continued with curation with the SC05 account. I had to round up with the curation to handover the account to the next person. At this point, my day was exhausted and also disappointed because I felt like wasting my money on a traditional regalia that was messed up by the seamstress. Nevertheless, she asked me to bring back the dress the next day for adjustment. Until me next diary session, I wish you all a happy weekend 🤗🤗.
You have mixed feelings because you ordered a traditional outfit that doesn't match your order. Usually, women with mixed feelings will take it out on their husbands and friends. Hopefully, you are not like that.
🫠🫠I did not take it out on my husband nor friends. I always have my quiet moment to myself whenever I find myself in such a situation.

I love the regalia traditional attire, the design is beautiful, though it really needs some adjustments because it's revealing your neck too much.

So sorry to hear about the disappointment. Is there a way they can make a refund of the money because 75k is actually much though
