The Diary Game [15/06/2024] // Preparation for Vacation with the Kids to Grandpa .

Steem greetings all the way from the motherland-Cameroon and welcome to my blog as I share my daily routine with you all. It was a hectic day for me as I decided to go on vacation with the kids before holiday classes resume. My daughter will have to continue with her coding classes and soon the coding classes will begin and I thought it wise to travel with them to grandpa.

I had Promise them this trip during the third term examinations for the academic year 2023/2024 if they performed well. The results were outstanding with A+ and I had to fulfill my promise.

I took the baby’s food and milk and rush to another store to pick up some white inner wears for him. Limbe temperatures are high as compared to my town of origin, and my boy does not like hot or high temperatures.

From this store and headed to food market to buy yam, potatoes, garri, carrots and green beans because these items are pretty expensive in Limbe. Time was already catching up on me as I had left my daughter at the salon for a special hairdo. I hurriedly took a bike to avoid traffic and arrived the bus station on time and paid for our tickets to travel by night.

After paying the tickets, I rush back home and prepared the kids. I bath them, dressed them up and parked our luggages. My neighbour assisted and arrange the luggages in his car and took us to the bus station by 4:00 PM.

When we arrived the bus station at 4:00 PM as per the departure time on our tickets, we were surprised that the bus was no where to be found. We seated there and my kids started demanding for snacks. One woman was moving around selling doughnuts and plantain chips. I bought the chips and we both ate.

After a while, one of my Newbies by name @nsangou-rudolf came at the park. He also brought some nylon bags for our suitcases to avoid rain. He assisted us to wrap the suitcases inside the nylon bags and were set to be parked in the bus cabins.

Our bus finally took off at 6:00 PM and the rest was history guys. I just wake up now catching up with all night sleep on the road and decided to drop my daily routine. U til my next diary session, it is good afternoon at my end now.
