ancient artifact and dying village
Walk through the village of Rychkovo, which is located almost on the border between the Samara and Orenburg regions. The village is small, according to the 2010 census - a little less than 400 people. Now even less. Many houses are half abandoned. Perhaps their owners come there only in the summer. Although, apparently, once the village was large, with a large landowner's estate, a large park with a lake and a distillery. Now it is all in ruins.
The title photo is a local landmark. A large metal vat assembled from pieces of metal. Assembled without a single welding seam, only with rivets. But still sealed. This chan, according to local residents, is over 100 years old, it is the same age as the village itself

Once upon a time, local craftsmen adapted a pipe to a spring so that water would flow into a vat. In winter, respectively, the water does not freeze, and for baptism people plunge into this vat.

The purpose of this building remains a mystery. Obviously not a residential building - something administrative. Possibly related to the factory. Now abandoned and slowly falling apart
