quarry failure, beaver dam and different landscapes
After watching a video of one Samara local historian, in which he talked about the fact that in the north of the region in abandoned quarries one can find "stone trees" - this is petrified wood that has lain in the ground for many years. It was decided to take a walk in those places, to look for these same fossils. But, upon arrival at the place, a great disappointment awaited - mining in the quarry was resumed. Therefore, the search took place along the edge of the quarry. In general, apart from a couple of stones with the mineral mica, they did not find ... Most likely, if there is something there, you need to go down to the very depths of the mine. But I highly doubt the security of this place would approve...

And here is the quarry itself. It is located on the side of a mountain, which is why it seems deep. Clay, rubble stone, crushed stone and other are mined here.

Having suffered a fiasco with minerals, we found something else, less interesting, but original. :) Firstly, the remains of some kind of wooden structure in the river. Maybe it was a bridge over a river. Maybe a building. Now it's hard to understand.

The second interesting place is the beaver dam. The beavers themselves were not found, but they built a good dam, even a small waterfall appeared :)

Well, in addition, the variety of landscapes of the northern region of the Samara region. Here they are much better than in the south, where there are only steppes. There are fields, and forests, and hills. And after the dull winter landscapes, the eye rejoices at such beauty :)
