The fight for the premier league title is still on as Liverpool picked another win at Anfield against Tottenham. It was a 2-1 victory for the reds as a late own goal came in the dying minutes of the match which was propelled by the Egyptian Mohammed Sallah.


The own goal came from Toby Alderweireld IN the 90th-minute. This is after Tottenham equalized the first goal in the 70th minute. Tottenhams goal came from Lucas Moura who didnt fail to make use of the opportunity while it came.

Liverpool are not ready to give up on the league yet as they are ready to fight to the death. This is what the Liverpools defender Virgil van Dijk said after game.
“It’s going to be tough but let’s enjoy it and keep going.”

Moura said:

“It is very hard to lose like this. We played very well. At this level of game we cannot make some mistakes and we had chances to win the game.
“It is difficult. We played very well.
“We cannot lose more points but I am proud of my team-mates.”
