Daily Menu Delicacies Week No. 43. date (11-11-2024) // Dinner With My Friends

As I've already told you, my friends and I like to get together often and talk about what each of us has been up to, and it's even better when it happens at a table. Our evening began with our arrival at a charming little bistro located in the center of town. The air was filled with the aroma of freshly baked bread and exotic spices that whetted our appetites. The interior of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with soft lights hanging on the walls and of course soothing background music that created the perfect atmosphere for a nice evening with friends.

Our seats were arranged at a large table which allowed us to easily communicate with each other while perusing the menu. Our friend, who was passionate about Japanese cuisine, immediately drew his attention to a section dedicated to ramen soups. He chose the chicken option, which was rich and flavorful, with thin noodles swimming in the broth and juicy, well-cooked chicken. His eyes glistened with delight as he sipped the hot soup, visibly pleased with his choice.

Meanwhile, I decided to bet on a classic Italian specialty - tender pork tenderloin, garnished with a fresh salad and a refreshing lemon wedge. The meat was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, just the way I like it. The salad was the perfect complement, adding crunch and freshness to the dish. My friend, who was a fan of fish, ordered a delicate seafood delicacy that was expertly prepared, leaving him feeling completely satisfied.

Our other friend wanted something lighter and fresher, so he chose a combination of parma ham and sweet melon. This unexpected combination turned out to be a delightful surprise. The sweetness of the melon was beautifully complemented by the salty taste of the ham, creating a harmonious symphony of flavors in the mouth.

For dessert, we decided to share several portions of waffles, which were served in different variations. There was a classic Belgian waffle topped with whipped cream and gooey maple syrup, a fruit waffle filled with fresh berries and whipped cream, and a chocolate waffle topped with a rich, velvety chocolate ganache. Every bite was delicious, ending our culinary journey in the best possible way.

Over dinner we kept up a lively conversation, laughing and sharing stories from our day. The restaurant provided the perfect backdrop for our evening together, making us feel welcome and valued. When we left the restaurant, we were all happy and full, reminiscing nostalgically about the wonderful food and company. Our dinner in this cozy establishment will undoubtedly remain a dear memory for us :)
