Тime Мachine

On this last day of the week, I want to share with you this photo of a find that impressed me. This "time machine" with many buttons is actually a 100-year-old cash register made of wood and bronze. The museum guide told me that this machine was created solely to work with coins and banknotes in commercial establishments, serving both to assist the stores' accounting and to protect their money. In fact, the purpose of this device was mainly to register daily receipts without errors and, in particular, to prevent theft by its employees. This invention was gradually improved to the electronic machines that we know in stores today. I like these objects that have both a history behind them and exude a certain charm from the "good old days" :)
