STEEMCHURCH: WISDOM

The wisdom of God is the most valuable asset in the journey of life. Not everyone that is alive is wise neither does everyone who is thinking qualified to be called wise in the context of the covenant. That's why the Bible recognises four different kind of wisdom: Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world that come to nought: but we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory. 1 Corinthians 2:6-7

This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. James 3:15

In these two scriptures, we are told of earthly wisdom (natural), sensual wisdom (intellectual), devilish wisdom (diabolical) and the wisdom of God ( from above).

Daniel said something that shows the superiority of the wisdom of God compared with the other three: "Daniel replied, “There are no wise men, enchanters, magicians, or fortune-tellers who can reveal the king’s secret. 28 But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and he has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in the future. Now I will tell you your dream and the visions you saw as you lay on your bed. Daniel 2:27-28

The magicians, astrologers and soothsayers are all classified as wise people, they pose to proffer solutions to human problems but as Paul put it, all of them equal to nought when compared with the value of the wisdom that is from above.

WHAT IS DIVINE WISDOM
I define dive wisdom as divine know-how with proofs.
The labour if the foolish wearieth everyone of them, because he knoweth not how to go to rhe city. Ecclesiastics 10:15

Wisdom is essentially know-how and divine wisdom is essentially know-how and divine wisdom is always characterized with attendant proofs. Divine wisdom can also be defined as a discovery of divinely inspired insight with attendant proofs.

The attendant proofs factor is what differentiates divine wisdom from common sense and intellectual sense. The latter two deliver efforts but divine wisdom is what gives value to human efforts.

When the wisdom of God came in chapter 1 of Genesis, there was proof. God said, Let there be light and there was light! In six days, this beautiful planet was created and all the galaxies were put in place!

The wisdom of God can be described as the most valuable asset in the journey of life. It is the answer to the woes of this world.

MANIFESTATION OF DIVINE WISDOM
Divine wisdom is creative in nature; it engenders creative exploits. In the beginning, the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep and spirit of God began to move on the face of the waters and to erupt in creative exploits (Gen 1:1-end). Everything that happened in Genesis chapter 1 is a demonstration of the creative wisdom of God. We are told later that, "The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath be established the heavens. Proverb 3:19

The psalmist said, "O Lord, how manifold are thy works in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches. Psalm 105:24

The earth was without form and void and darkness was everywhere, there seemed to be no hope, no ray of light but the spirit of God came on the scene and stirred the wisdom of God into action.

Divine wisdom is able to give shape to your shapeless life. It will equip you for supernatural creativity, whereas common sense will limit you to common results.
