Climate Change Rage
Climate change is a highly contentious subject with everyone having an opinion, and rightly so, we all share this planet and would all be affected by any natural disaster of global proportion. We're all complicit in the change to the environment.
Climate change means different things to different people but to me its the gradual change in ecosystems that result in loss of animal and plant life. The overuse of resources without a plan to have it used sustainably. The neglect or not instead not trying hard enough putting in equal measures to replenish it.
Climate change to me is a reduction of resources that will sustain ALL life, and it starts as low as bugs and plants, and it will all move up the excellent chain over time. Climate change is the reduction in the worlds ability to sustain life and continue to offer resources for life to thrive.
Political pressure
I think because this is self-preservation is profoundly real passions are high, and in a culture where opinion means more than the effort it has become an agent for political gain. Politicians can rally peoples fears and push conversions and use this to drive change. The problem for me is that it is not social change where the end-user is changing their behaviour its regulation change and re-allocation of capital change to another set of cronies in the renewable and green sector.
While renewables do make sense, a lot of capital has been wasted on projects that have not been viable under the guise of climate change problem-solving. Throwing money at the problem to me seems so dismissive as if the powers that be need to change and the consumer should not be affected.
Until it becomes an end-user consumer-driven change, I don't see this being anything but a political ploy with a few companies who will make vast sums of money due to these new regulations. Only to reach fake "immissions targets" that mean nothing to the planet but ease public conscious and shut people up.
Back the land movement
I think consumers would need to drive a stronger back to the land movement and stop supporting companies that aren't using the right means of production. We need to go back to a hard money system that reduces the ability to borrow from the future and plunder resources using fake forms of value and drive mass overconsumption for profiteering.
I think by doing this, we naturally create equilibriums and behaviours that will keep more uses in check and keep people living within their means and encourage companies to develop products and services that work within the resources available

Believe or not to believe
I don't think you can believe any evidence because it's all taken in specific time frames, context or biases to prove or disprove an agenda. I wouldn't rally on any information provided, but I do know simple math and the theory of supply and remind vs replenishment is a recipe for disaster.
What are the significant contributors
I would have to say mining, deforestation, factory farming and the use of fossil fuels for energy. As we plunder limited resources the planet has we slowly cannibalise the earth and in essence our life span on the earth.
I think we're so ingrained in this world of modern convenience and consumerism and having a job to survive that society is a major if not the only contributor for all the climate change and we need to realise that and stop blaming big industries, they are a result of our needs for all sorts of rubbish to keep us happy

Very interestin subject and post. For me the first cause of the change climat is us, human and else who comes after. After that I agree with you there are so many things but in fact that there are some who profitering and we need go back to natural ressources and production; the source. I think we should be more sensitive and attentive to our actions which indeed have devastating consequences on the climate and from which we too suffer. The first step is to change bad habits ourself and then do it on a large scale. What saddens me is that everyone is aware of the serious problem to this day but that almost no one acts to see little if not a few organizations and associations are active and react actively for development. But come on, let's even start to take the step if governments don't take it seriously, if the people unite, the voice always goes to the People.
We are the major contributor that is for sure and to think otherwise would be foolish, this ideal of always growing means we've never found a real equilibrium. Especially on the fiat money system, all we're aiming for is more economic growth and not about how to optimise and best use our resources so that they regenerate and we can move to more sustainable actions.
I'm at this point where I feel like we're the Titanic and it's too late to change, either we abide by the earth capacity or the earth will force us to abide by removing us one by one until enough is left to be sustainable. Sad to say it but I feel like we never learn our lessons without massive tragedy and loss
