The begining of Marathon Praise across nations (MMPraise) in celebraton of Pastor E.A Adeboye

Today marked the 7th edition of the Messiah's Marathon Praise (MMPraise) and the theme of this year is "The Great Redeemer" and it started from 11am in the morning at KM 46, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State.

It should be noted that this marathon praise started with the idea of thanking God for his faithfulness and kindness in the life of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor E. A Adeboye.

It began on the 2nd of March, 2012 when the man of God was 70 years old. The idea came for there to be praise giving for 70 hours and that was what gave rise to the Messiah's Marathon praise.

It should be noted that after that year, it became a yearly event with the hours increasing by one every year.

In line with that, the one of this year is 76 hours of praise.

A lot of things have changed since the beginning of the annual event .

one of which is the increase in the people (planners, volunteers and visitors) involved in it.

In line with that, it should be noted that apart from South America, we have 16 different countries across all the habitable continents scheduled to perform.

I am a member of the crew and I must confess, everywhere has been bubbling with the ministration from different annointed ministers of God.

Some of those that have performed include: The National Youth Choir, Solagbade Sola, Taiwo Wemimo, Seun Oloyede, Taiwo Ibidapo, National Teens Mass Choir, Tolucci, Folakemi Oyetunde, Femi Adenuga and Big Bolaji.
