Getting Started On TronLink Pro |Knowing the function of each feature- Part 1|

In this tutorial, I will be taking users through the various features available in TronLink Pro and what they signify.

If you haven't imported your Tron account in your Steem Wallet to Tronlink Pro yet, please refer to this post by @nattybongo to understand how it is done.

Assets Interface

• The main features in the Assets interface are Freeze/Unfreeze Swap Vote , Add assets and Send/Receive.

Freeze/Unfreeze

Transactions on Tronlink Pro require Resources to perform. These resources are precise Energy and Bandwidth. Every transaction performed has an amount of energy and bandwidth consumed before the transaction takes place.
You can opt to freeze TRX for either Energy or Bandwidth with the Freeze/Unfreeze feature.
With the number of TRX frozen, a user gets an equal number of votes.

Got a total of 9 votes for freezing 4 TRX for Energy and 5 TRX for Bandwith which earned me 127 and 5007

Bandwidth and Energy replenish with time once they are consumed. As can be seen in the screenshot above, I used up my resources for a transaction but they are being replenished with time.
TRX assets can be unfrozen by changing the Freeze opt to Unfreeze anytime you want your token back.

Voting

This feature was included to enable members to actively involve themselves in building the TRON ecosystem by voting for Super Representatives SRs. These SRs are tasked with producing blocks for the TRON network and are 27 in total.

The votes earned for freezing TRX is used in voting for SRs
With every vote cast, you earn TRX each day which can only be claimed once every 24h.

Swap and Markets

Swap

Users have the privilege to exchange TRX with 17 different tokens instantly using JustSwap with zero transaction fees. You can swap between tokens of your choice. Noticeable amongst the tokens are ETH, LTC, BTC, USDT, TUSD, and SUN. You can buy, send, receive and hold tokens in your Tronlink Pro

Markets

In Markets, you will find the various trading pairs of TRX as listed on the third-party exchange called Poloni Dex. If you wish to make a trade, you will be directed to Poloni Dex to transact your trade.

Add Assets

This feature is used to display/hide the assets of the users. Every asset held by the user is displayed in this section and you can either opt to show them or not in the asset menu.

Send and Receive

Send

To send any token, you would need the receiving account's address.
Sending token using TRC-20 Network is free from transaction cost. This is one of the amazing features of the Tron network. you get to save the cost required for transferring tokens on other networks.

Receive

You can also receive a particular token by sharing the address with the sender.

You can move tokens to and from third-party exchange platforms like Binance using the Send and Receive features.
