"The Cast Shadow"
Painted on location near Taos, New Mexico.
”The Cast Shadow” 14”x16” (#798) oil on canvas by Lee Gordon Seebach
The most ordinary - yet beautiful - things can often motivate me to paint them. This cast shadow on an adobe house was minding its own business and then I came along, saw it, thought to myself, "Jeepers creepers, that is sweet," and then I painted it for posterity.
The body of work I've produced is a sort of journal of the things I find in life that I love.
From a TV program in the 60s: "There are eight million stories in The Naked City. This has been one of them."
I hope you enjoy seeing this painting.
More to come,
Lee

Amazing work!
@natalyaborqo Thanks so much!
Beautiful!
Thanks so much @technovedanta
I think its lovely!
@milimali...thank you!
what interests me is the sky - mauve tints and then foliage masses of green. A bit more passion in this canvas--a little more of you
Ooops...I guess I failed in depicting the background. It's a hill with sagebrush and some sort of violet drybrush. I'll try harder next time. LOL But if you want to see it as a sky, it's a sky. 😎
Very nice! And a more fitting reward too 8-).
Thanks @ocrdu...and yes, it's nice to get more Steem Power, for sure!
