The awkward "out of place".
Hola amigos, it is a pleasure to be part of this week's contest. Being out of place is not appropriate at all like being asked to do all the activities in an organization, while there can be a division of labor to favor everyone and make working easier.
1 What does the phrase "out of place" mean to you? Give us an example.
The term out of place means "not belonging, uncomfortable, i.e., inappropriate for the circumstances or the location. This happens when you are not expected to be where you are and with whom you are at that particular time. For example, if a teenager is found in the comfort of adults but is not supposed to be there because he or she looks out of place amongst the adults.
Being in the middle of people who are not in your class in school is also another example of being out of place. Keeping a book in the room where the guitars are kept is out of place because it is presently not in the right location. Another way in which things can be out of place is when a boy is found amongst a group of girls and vice versa. If the ruling class is all male and there is a female in their presence, that has certainly become out of place.
2.- Have you ever felt uncomfortable being out of place?
I have felt out of place before especially during a conversation with people, I once was talking with my friend until some of his friends came they started talking about some events and things that they had all witnessed during school and their private life, and I felt out of place because I had nothing to say but look at them talk. I have not been to school with them, and it felt as if I should go, but I stayed until they left. Most of you have felt left out or out of place in this situation before when people are talking, and you don't have any idea as regards what they are saying.
Another situation where I felt out of place was when my classmates and I were asked to go to the sss 2 class to join them in studying. It felt out of place because we were above them and had to go there because we were few. I felt really bad being in the presence of the junior student to work. Most adults might have been asked to do some things which they are above, but due to some circumstances, they had to do it.
Because they had more population than us, we had to be in the class. Some people might have found themselves being sent to work in a place where people of their authority are not expected to work, but due to circumstances of lack of staff or individuals to work there, they are been sent there. For instance, a manager acting as a secretary is totally out of place.
3.- Do you consider that paradise is an invention of human beings who have always felt out of place?
I don't think that paradise is an invention of humans who have always felt out of place. Whether we feel out of place or not, it is our good deeds that will take us all to paradise. Being good to people and obeying the rules and regulations and being out of place is not the same thing. Being out of place in this situation means that the humans who feel that paradise is for them alone are going to be in it. They feel this world is not meant for them and expect to be in paradise. It doesn't work that way. You have to be worthy of good deeds and a way of life, devoted to pleasing the lord at all times.
4.- Is it true that, in these turbulent technological times, as people age they become less relevant?
Man can become less relevant because technological devices are meant to help a man perform his daily activities easily, quickly, and accurately. As we age, our ability to work decreases, but we cannot be completely unimportant because we now know how this invention can affect our well-being. Man has become less relevant due to the advancement of technology; in the farming sector, they are now mostly using tractors, bulldozers, planters, and harvesters to make farming work easier.
Men's efficiency decreases as they age, the bones are not as strong as they used to be, and man's cells and organs don't function as well as it is supposed to; to prevent death and preserve the old, we then make use of technology and the young. They become less relevant because, technically, devices have replaced them.
