Welcome you all dear friends for a new week of writing and engagement challenge. Am really sorry for reporting late, it's due to some circumstances beyond my control. We hope to engage and learn new things this week just as we did last week. The engagement challenge has brought new Steemit user's in our community, which has able me to know my fellow Steemians around the globe and make friends with them. Special thanks to @steemitblog for bringing us together as one family this way.

It means, I have done a lot last week by checking on posts, commenting and giving corrections where is necessary. According to Steemit team, we Moderators are expected to verify each post before 12 hours it was posted to make sure the post is free from plagiarism, the user is following any of the club's, not using bots and above all, the post has #steemexclusive tag and well written with good grammar.

I make out time to reach out to poeple. Telling them about Steemit and what future it has to their members. I also mentored my recruites who are like new babies in the platform. At the end, 2 new users was recruited by me.

Plagiarism: Stealing is not our culture and highly prohibited here on Steemit. It was among the things I did during the week to ensure that, no Plagiarism post is allowed in our community.

Club Statues: Nice initiative from Steemitblog. Many don't know when they are out of club. So, they keep on abusing the tags. That's why I work in that too. Reminding some user's that I noticed that the are out of club to do so immediately.

Use of Bidbots It's not allowed here too. Am happy that none of the users I checked their post is not using Bots.

Steemexclusive It is only used when your post is only done on Steemit. I make sure that #steemexclusive tag is not abused. By checking if the user has made the post in another blogging site.

I was fully involved in verifying and grading all the entries of week1 engagement challenge. It was my first time experience and a nice one too. All the participants did great with correct grammar and plagiarism free.

Observations, Recommendations and Conclusion

• I observed that there are new users who are joining our community and Steemit platform on a daily basis. So, their post used to be very short, pictures not properly sited and not using appreciate the. Some of them, their thumbnail image is not on landscape orientation and their post contains some % of plagiarism. Please we should on guard to correct them. In conclusion, let's engage more this week and win together
