INTRODUCEYOURSELF

Hi steemians! I'm glad to be part of this community. This is gonna be my very first article to publish online. So I hope to make a lot of new friends here to share ideas and moments together.

So to give you an information about myself, I am Kris Henry Olarte from the province of Albay, Bicol, Philippines. I know some of you knows where Mayon Volcano is. Well, we have here the beautiful Mayon Volcano, one of the greatest wonders of the World! As you can see in this image below how beautiful Daragang Magayon (Mayon Volcano) is!

This was me and the majestic Mayon at my back and was taken 3 years ago I think,

I love trekking and we've reached the 1st Camp of Mayon with 2500ft. above sea level. It was indeed one of my most memorable experiences ever!

The ground we were standing there was the lava came from Mayon formed into a solid substance. And it was AWESOME!!

There are a lot more of what our Region considered to be as nature's wealth. Maybe on my next post I'll share it with you all my dearest steemians.

Back to my Intro! I used to play chess, well I guess, that was before when I almost gave more time playing it! I am always amazed how professional chess players make plays differently like my all time favorites, Gary Kasparov and his King's Indian Defense, Magnus Carlsen (Current Chess World Champion and FIDE Ranked #1) and also the "Master Tactician" Mikhail Tal with his sacrificial plays! They are my heroes in playing chess!

Last year, I've got to engaged into cryptocurrencies and BITCOIN. I am a newbie in Cryptocurrencies, a newbie trader and a newbie investor. I learned a lot of things with regards to cryto, I learned the basics in trading and that is with the help of our mentor, Sir @Otom Quintana. He is one of the reason why I am here in this community. Also, BIG THANKS to Ma'am @Ankarlie Santos for encouraging us to be part of steemit community.

I beleive in Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies, on how it will change the trend of our lifestyle and how it will correlate to virtual and real world. Steem's Blockchain is one of the platform that has established it's position in cryptocurrencies and social media that allows contributor's of Steemit community to be rewarded or incentivized by providing content on it's platform. Steem has scalable blockchain, the fast transaction processed at a certain block and almost fee-less.

No doubt, Steem has it all. It becomes the blueprint of other new coming social media platforms for its success using the algorithm called Delegated Proof-of-Stake. Steem will continue to grow its community and will still reign as the number one Blockchain for social media.

I'll share some thoughts, ideas regarding cryptocurrencies, my likes, hobbies and some other stuffs on my next posts as my contribution to steemit community.
