Achievement 4: Application of Markdowns || by @chiderah66
I will start by saying a big thank you to my country representative @bright-obias for reviewing and approving my achievement task from 1 to 3, and I so much appreciate @cryptokannon for her guidance to the newcomers of this platform.
It is with great pleasure that that I am posting this achievement 4 which deals with the application of Markdown.
Markdown makes your write ups a thousand times better for readers, more attractive and most of all they derive pleasure in reading it.
- Here are some list of the markdowns and what they are used for.
Headings.
Basically the heading is of six different sizes which depends on the number of # you add to it.
For example:

Bold text
This deals with how to texts bold. To make it bold you add two asteric ** before and after the sentence. For example:
I love the steemit platform
Italic
To make italics you add just one steric * before and after the sentence. For example:
I love steemit
How to make a statement block
This deals with making your your statement look somehow blur and quoted. And it is been applied by using > at the beginning of the statement.
For example:
The truth remains if I leave this country, what I would miss more apart from my family and friends, is our traditional food, especially Egusi and Garri.
How to add link
You copy the link write [source] then paste the link in a bracket like this. (https://steemit.com/@steemcurator03). For example:

Conclusion:
I believe that all I have explained from the beginning of this post down till this extent is on the part to the application of Markdown and styling to give one's post a better structure and make it more appealing.
