✍️ What were your hopes while signing up for Steemit for the first time?

My hopes while signing up for Steemit haven't changed to date as I continue to participate in the platform. When joining Steemit, I signed up when Steemit was well-hyped in my environment. A platform that repays its users for writing. It was still very fresh in my head when I was asked to join and it was during the crypto academy course contents when an upvote was guaranteed.

So, it was an alternative means of income generation because of the then odds all working ask expected. Posts were assured to receive an upvote, so there was a hyped motivation to post more content on the platform.

I also earned cryptocurrency for the first time. I have always heard about cryptocurrency and joining Steemit allowed me to earn my ever first crypto coins.

✍️ What challenges are faced while achieving your financial or blogging goals?

It was the first thing to sign up and another to continue with the activities that followed. I had initial posting issues despite how much I tried. I had to pass through the achievement task that gave me little tips. but I still had to optimize my publishing skills.

What I've come to understand is that no newbie comes into the platform as a perfect blogger. You have to keep having teething issues until you master all you need in blogging on the platform. Moreover, you only keep getting better as you engage with the system.

Presently, those teething issues have been surmounted as I can find my way around the system without difficulty or blogging ideas. I think the only financial difficulty is the non-guarantee of posts, unlike what we used to have those days.

Most posts are not supported. Savings are made but on a small scale, and this is also the same for transfers made. There is no doubt that this has some form of motivation or demotivation on the user, but one thing has kept me going which is, "Support would come."

✍️ Your inspiration on Steemit?

Each time I remember my activities on other social media platforms that do not pay me and cent, I am inspired to continue with whatever thing I am doing on the Steemit platform. It is inspiring to see a platform that rewards users who engage with it.

I am motivated as well because of the saving scheme that allows users to compulsorily save part of their earnings. These earnings would allow them to have more influence in the system as well as have future and higher investments when the value of the token increases.

✍️ Your happy story due to Steemit?

When joined Steemit during the era when support on each post was guaranteed in any of the contest engagements, I was able to earn more tokens which were in return used to make some home appliance purchases.

Most of us who joined in those times were able to make some memorable investments or achievements. For now, I am happy building back my steem power to increase my influence and reserves as well.
