SFS Contest Picture of the Day Week 17
Hello friends welcome to my blog.
A Memorable day comes with special feelings that are difficult to forget or easy to recall. Today I will be sharing my picture that has a memorable story attached to it.
This is a picture of a recent children's day anniversary in my church that took place on the 2nd of June this year, and I am part of this team in my church. We had several days of rehearsals and preparation with the children for their presentations on this eventful day.
The day began beautifully until at about 7:30 am, it became cloudy and followed by heavy rain, and the church service was stated to begin by 9 am. It rained all through the morning, and we went to church in the rain. When I got to the church, I met the baker trying to amend the cake. I asked what had happened, and she told me the cake broke while she was getting it out of the car. While all this was happening, the turn up of children was low, which I knew was a result of the heavy rain pouring.
With all the happenings, I was already having a mixed feeling if the day would go as planned or not. It was 9 am already, and the service began with the few number of children available.
Fortunately for us, the rain stopped at about 10 am, and the children's number began to increase gradually until we had a full house, and the program went as planned. It was a huge success for us that day and a memorable one.

The children presented a variety of displays which were educative and informative and were given an engaging audience
However, the children were so happy. They impressed the parents as the parents could not help but join in on the fun with laughter and unforgettable moments. The parents and children thoroughly enjoyed a fun-filled day. I felt happy also as the rainfall did not ruin our day.

The preparation you did with the kids and the dedication of the team definitely made the celebration meaningful. Although the number of kids attending was low at first, their presence, the spirit they brought, and the support from all the teams definitely made the day special
Yes, the children put more effort into their preparation and rehearsals. That was why I felt a bit bad when the rain tried to disturb their day. But I am glad it ended well
Thank you for stopping by to read through my post I appreciate it.
Glad to hear that everything worked out in the end. And, thanks again.
Thanks for support
