✍️ What were your hopes while signing up for Steemit for the first time?
While signing up for steemit, I had hopes that this was going to improve my financial income or probably become that alternate source of income I've desired. But things weren't the way it was as I couldn't get it all rosy onboarding. Onboarding took me a lot of time as the steemit route wasn't responding. I had to use one of the thrid party's side to onboard into the system.
I entered at a time i feel was much competitive in the sense that many people are already active and competing for the limited resources. It was one to write the achievement task and another to receive support on them. As a newbie, I was discouraged from all sides.
My hopes of making steemit my alternate stream of income failed as it didn't work, but rather, i was able to get done all my achievement tasks and took a break for a while.
The quest to also engage a cryptocurrency platform was there. I always hear about it, but I have never had any of it. Joining steemit exposed me to the world of cryptocurrency. I earned it no matter how small it was.
✍️ Your challenges faced while achieving your financial or blogging goals?
Onboading into the steemit was problematic, not until the intervention of my mentor who helped me to deal with it. I didn't have many issues with my blogging goals but had challenges with the support received. The support received was not only encouraging but capable of sending a newbie out of the platforms completely. It's good to see the attention of newbies this time.
The financial aspect of my engagement with the system was linked to receiving upvotes, which was very minimal. This afftected my withdrawals, which was mared by low income after posting.
✍️ Your inspiration on Steemit?
My inspiration is that I am back and ready to make the best out of the system. This includes joining a club status that allows me to save my earnings and as well grow my reputation. The little SBD i earn while writing in steemit is better than the unlimited time with other social handles that do not reward Penny.
✍️ Your happy story due to Steemit?
My happy story in steemit hasn't been long seen. My second missionary journey with my joining the engagement challenge and posting in the Steem4Nigeria community has got me earned more liquid steem than all my stay initially. I have my Steem Power now over 100 SP, and withdrawals also in, like sum shows a tremendous growth for me.
Those withdrawals were able to pay off some bills. It is a win-win for me, and there is every reason to remain in the platform and blog.

I'm happy you're back and determined to making it on steemit. You see, if you are not determined and focused on steemit as a newbie, you can quit too early, I have faced this too but I've refused to quit, I know one day I'll get to the top. I'm just very sure of this.

Not receiving support is really a tough challenge that we must handle with smartness if not it will definitely swallow us up. It hurts when we're not receiving support and I think it's normal feeling, it was challenging for you because you hope to made steemit your alternative source of income but it didn't worked out the way you thought. What makes you special is even after the big problematic you came across, you're still here blogging with patients and consistency. Keep steeming, better days are coming. Best of luck friend.🤗
Atleast newbies are now supported for a longer time to allow them be encouraged. It hasn't been easy for consistency and patience i believe wins it all. Thanks for engaging with me
The earlier any user realize that steemit does not owe him or her anything the better, we all faced same challenge when we started blogging here but knowing that half bread is better than none many of us continued. Now that you are back try and be active and take part in contest and engagement you will reach more audience.
Yeah, steemit does not owe us. If we quit or not, we lose. So we have to be patient enough to endure all that we face in the system. Thanks so much for your words.
Wow, really encouraging sir, it good as you didn't left the platform, because a little token will continue to grow.
It is to be understood that no matter how it rewards are coming in little for the while, is still better than other platforms that are not rewarding even a penny at all.

Greetings, my friend I must say that we all had that initial challenge when we joined the Steemit. Sometimes we attempted to run and come back again.
having the hopes to make ends meet is one of our goals in steemit. good you had a mentor to help you navigate your way through Steemit else it could be very challenging. is good to know you’re back to continue writing and earning . I do hope you get all your heart desires in this amazing platform, because Steemit is indeed a place to be. all you need is consistency and to keep improving yourself.
